[00:00:00] Hey, what's going on everyone? So my name is Bertrand and I'm share a quick story with you that I just shared with a friend. I think it's amazing. I think you're going to pull a lot from it. Right. So I have a friend named Jeff. He's a motivational speaker and he has done really well for himself without building a platform, without being well known. [00:00:17] But the thing is, it's not even about that really. What I want you, I want to share with you is that when Jeff was first starting out being a motivational speaker, he shared that with our head coach at the time, right. Had coach at the time trying to discourage him from being a speaker and getting paid and that he won't be getting paid a lot. And you know, at the time Jeff had just had. Just have. Jeff only had one child, but now he has more and Jeff just said okay, appreciate it, but then kept going and kept building his platform. And even now I know other speakers that have way more followers, way more engagement on their posts and stuff and they are not highly paid. [00:00:54] He is right. So whatever formula that he has is working for him. [00:00:59] So there's actually two things in this lesson. One, you don't have to be the top guy in your field to get paid for the five figure checks. [00:01:08] The second thing is never let anybody tell you who you can be and what you can do.
