Show Notes

It’s been almost two years since I released an episode.

Not because I stopped recording—I've got recordings stacked up—but because I hit a season where I truly felt like I lost myself.

Not “missing person” lost... but identity lost.

When I was single, I was in full beast mode. I had a rhythm, a flow, a hunger that was dialed into The 1% Man. But life shifted. I got married. I now have four beautiful kids. And that transition brought me into a new rhythm of manhood, one I wasn’t fully prepared for.

In this episode, I open up about:

This isn’t a polished comeback—it’s a real one.
And I believe the most powerful thing I can do now is show up fully, flaws and all.

Let’s rise.

[00:00:01] Hey, I believe it's been almost two years, or two years since I've released an episode, but I've still been recording podcasts and not releasing them. And I think in these two years I have really lost myself. [00:00:17] Not in a sense of like, I don't know, excuse me. Not in a sense of like I'm missing and the police need to come find me. But I think when, I mean, I lost myself. I think when you're single and you're on a certain trajectory, there's a different flow of life. When you get married and you have kids, there's another flow of life as you guys don't know. But in the past two years, I've gotten married, I have four beautiful kids. I mean, an amazing wife as well. Amazing, like beautiful and amazing. And my thing for me was looking at my brand, the 1% man, looking at like the multiple businesses that I had. [00:00:53] I. I just felt as if I could not do it all. So a lot of that went to the wayside, right? [00:00:59] Being successful and having a multiples, multiple six figure company which every year makes, you know, six figures or whatever, that's great. But let me go to the wayside. I lost my identity because I thought I wanted to be this uber successful person, right? [00:01:15] Have a software, have a million dollar company and all these things and then I can, you know, know start my family. So. [00:01:22] But now I'm recording this and I want to give my, my feedback or my intake of what it's like, right? And the process and the things that I'm learning, my reflections, all right. From life. Because I think it's great to be at the mountaintop, which I have been, right? Penthouse, money off the wazoo, all that stuff, right? But now coming back and having a family and then doing it all together and going back up there together, that's the fun part. [00:01:51] Which also doing it alone was fun too. There's nothing wrong with that too, right? So I think right now, like this morning, instead of having a crazy morning routine, it was really simple, right? So I woke up this morning, drank about maybe 32 ounces of water, right? With some multivitamins, minerals, optimized minerals is what I use. I like those a lot. And then I added some salt in there, mix that up, drank it, and then I heated it up a little bit because last night I just felt my stomach acting a little weird. So drank that kind of helped me to flush out anything that's going on in my stomach. [00:02:28] Slept with mouth tape. So that way I felt good just sleeping. Excuse me. [00:02:33] That was really great. [00:02:35] And then after that, I did a couple push ups, did a couple burpees, and I'm good to go. All right. That's my really, I would say slow morning, but that's kind of how my morning went. [00:02:44] And then now I'm going to record this podcast, then meditate, and then after that, meditation, coming out of that, with a clear mind, I'm going to write down three objectives I need to hit before I go to work and I finish up and I really finish. Excuse me. Start my day and go strong, Right? [00:03:01] I think optimizing your life when you're. When you're married with a partner looks totally different when you're single, right? Because you only care about. You only have to care about yourself, Right? So with that being said, hope you guys have a great day. [00:03:16] And remember, you don't have to have this crazy morning routine. Just keep it simple and you're going to do great. All right, I'll talk to you later.
